Chichen Itza

The Chichen Itza ruin is one of the most stunning and well preserved. The pyramid is still in great condition. This beautiful site has a lot more to see : the sacred cenote, the juego de pelota, iguanas and souvenir stands. 

The ruins of Tulum and the Tulum beach

One of the Must Do things when you visit this part of mexico. The Tulum ruins are stunning, it's by the sea and there was a beach inside the archeological site where you can swim & freshen up in the transparent turquoise sea. There were iguanas everywhere, walking around like pets. 
The Tulum public beach outside the ruins is nice but very deserted, only a few people there. The beach was full of seaweeds. I personally prefer the inside the ruins beach. 
We walked for a while before finding a restaurant hidden in the bungalows area, the grilled fish with rice and red beans purée was delicious.

Perfect for those who love nature and quietness.

Hola Mexico !

I just came back from my holiday in Mexico, stayed for over two weeks in the Yucatan & Quintana Roo states. 
One word : A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!
The scenery was beautiful there : Maya temples, cenotes, the wonderful caribbean sea with white sand. 
I had a fab time there, enjoyed the food and the cocktail very much too.
Let's start with Playa Del Carmen. I stayed in this cozy hacienda. The structure of the building is original, renovated from the ancient Hacienda by keeping the spirit of the place.
