Back in the game !

After a long break, here i am, back to the blog. I must confess that having a toddler around was quite time consuming plus long working hours during the day.
And to celebrate this "back to blog", i got a beautiful Balenciaga addition to my B bags family, the Town style. I wasn't quite sure about this style when it came out but now that i've used it, i find it very handy, love the long strap for the hand-free option and i have added the shorter shoulder strap of my black Twiggy to it so that i can have a shorter strap option too. The double strap option works very well for me.

Beautiful maxi dress from ZARA

This dress is simply gorgeous, love the print and the colors, very feminine and classy.
I must try it on, maybe it'll fit my huge belly otherwise i'll have to wait after giving birth before being able to wear it.

Yes pregnancy outfits can be à la mode !

Until about 5 months, I have been wearing normal dresses, the loose cut ones from ZARA were ok. Then after that, my belly grew bigger and bigger and the normal dresses were all too short in the front so i couldn't fight it anymore. Luckily, i found trendy items on a few websites, ASOS is one of them. They have maternity skinny jeans, boyfriend style jeans, leggings, nice summer dresses, and even breast feeding tops which actually look good.
For spring & summer, i would suggest that you wear leggings as the slim jeans can be very suffocating if you have water retention problems like me. Jeans are not my legs' best friends especially when it's getting warmer and warmer. Dresses are what i like most during my pregnancy winter or summer, am still wearing them until the very last month, nothing beats nice and comfy dresses.

Here are a few nice items i like on ASOS :

After a long hunt, i got this Isabel Marant for H&M cardigan

I have been lusting for this cardigan from the Isabel Marant for H&M men collection since i saw it on Chiara  from Blondesalad blog. She looked so gorgeous with it and simply chic. The problem is that this cardigan is sold out in the morning it came out at H&M and it was such a tough task to find it but i finally managed to hunt for one and it's on its way to me. I'm so happy i found this gorgeous wool cardigan in size S.

Nice ZARA retro print dress

Another nice item at ZARA, i like the print on this dress, the material is comfortable, the black edge of the sleeves and pockets adds a little fine detail to this retro style pattern.

Balenciaga Wang's Minaudière

I kind of like the name of this new Balenciaga clutch designed by Alexander Wang. It's cute. Literally, "Minauder" in french means to simper or to be flirtatious. :-)

Back to blog with a great ZARA dress

I've been missing from this blog for a long time. Work was busy and life was a little hectic, didn't have much time to think about what to post on my blog. But well, this ZARA dress made me want to post again. I saw these fab pics on Chicisimo and hunted for it. Yes it was quite a hunt because it was sold out on the ZARA website and in several stores. Finally found it at the ZARA Galeries lafayette in my size. I was truly lucky to have found one.
Will post a mod pic of me with this dress soon. It is very warm, perfect for winter.

More pics of Lisboa

After climbing up the steep stairs from the Plaça da Figueira to the Castelo do Sao Jorge, we turned left and got lost for a little while until we saw the church above. Luckily there was a guard of an employees' entrance of the castle park who gave directions to tourists who can't find the main entrance. So we walked through this incredible red door with a stunning suspended moss covered sculpture that led to the castle's main entrance.

The Castelo da Sao Jorge has a stunning view over Lisbon city. There are old canons displayed in the park and many narrow paths to walk around the castle's fortification. For those who have vertigo it's not that pleasant to walk around and look down.
The paths are about 3 meters from the ground.

From the Castelo do Sao Jorge, we walked down a street and found a restaurant called "Chapito" a circus school that also serves food, the waiters are the school's students.
Food was nice, fish in papillote, pana cota served in a wine glass, original and delicious.
The best part of the restaurant is its view on the roofs of Lisboa.
The lunch menu is about 20 euros entrée main course dessert a glass of wine and coffee, the price is much more expensive at night.

Then we walked back to the Castelo do Sao Jorge and took another street down to a nice plaça with a great view on the sea. There was a beautiful little white church there, not the Graça church but a smaller one with a Portugese style tiles on the side.
The yellow tram N°28 stops at this view point.

About 10 minutes' walk from there, we went up to Graça church, following
an indication sign post. Next to the Graça, there was a beautiful façade
with turquoise blue tiles of the Villa Sousa.
And again, a stunning view over Lisbon and the Castelo San Jorge.
